Gerold Grafton

Gerold Grafton is the Lord of Gulltown and head of House Grafton during the events of A Song of Ice and Fire. A wide man with thick arms and shoulders but no great height, he wears his dirty-blond hair in a mop and speaks in a booming voice, though he is reckoned courteous. In A Feast for Crows, Petyr Baelish—who counts Gerold among his allies in Gulltown—asks him to send a son to ward at the Eyrie, and Gerold dispatches his youngest, Gyles, to squire for Lord Robert Arryn. He attends the wedding of Lord Lyonel Corbray at Gulltown. In The Winds of Winter, Gerold travels to the Gates of the Moon and, with Lord Benedar Belmore, tours the granaries of Lord Nestor Royce, instructed by Petyr to hold grain in reserve rather than sell it to Gulltown merchants.
